# hare-kilo A small text editor written in Hare. Loosely based on the [kilo](https://github.com/antirez/kilo) text editor, though the similarities are few. Build and run: ``` make ./kilo ``` Controls: - Arrow keys: move - Home, end, page up, page down: Move faster - `Ctrl+S`: Save - `Ctrl+Q`: Quit - Any ASCII character: insert If ctrl+s and ctrl+q are not being detected, add `stty -ixon` to your shell init script to disable shell freezing. The planned input overhaul should address this issue. Todo: - Overhaul input handling to allow unicode input (kitty escape codes) - Syntax highlighting - Reduce terminal CPU usage when holding keys - Vim mode?
