TCom - Terminal Compositor

A terminal compositor / multiplexer and sessionizer.

Goals

• Multiplex terminals - splits, screens, popups.
• Session persistence - auto-disowning server which stays alive unless all panes are intentionally closed.
• Work out of the box with minimal configuration with full colors, etc.
• Lowest possible overhead.
• Sane keybindings (not Ctrl+B for leader!).
• Unix support - Linux, BSD, macOS.

Potential goals

• Kakoune-like configuration syntax and shell expansions.
• Alternative: minimal static configuration (probably kdl).
• Tmux and screen switches on the CLI to emulate those programs (TERM, keybindings, etc).

Non-goals

• Eye candy - we are here to work, not play.
• Any web connectivity whatsoever.
• Windows support.
