TCom - Terminal Compositor

A terminal compositor / multiplexer and sessionizer.

Goals

Multiplex terminals - splits, screens, popups.
Session persistence - auto-disowning server which stays alive unless all panes are intentionally closed.
Work out of the box with minimal configuration with full colors, etc.
Lowest possible overhead.
Sane keybindings (not Ctrl+B for leader!).
Unix support - Linux, BSD, macOS.

Potential goals

Kakoune-like configuration syntax and shell expansions.
Alternative: minimal static configuration (probably kdl).
Tmux and screen switches on the CLI to emulate those programs (TERM, keybindings, etc).

Non-goals

Eye candy - we are here to work, not play.
Any web connectivity whatsoever.
Windows support.
